Location

The Fondazione Monte Verità is situated in the south of Switzerland (Canton Ticino) at Monte Verità.

The Fondazione Monte Verita and the cities of Ascona and Locarno have played a role at some instances in history and offer unique landscapes and many sights and visiting centers in walking or hiking distance and also interconnected by a public transport network. The latter also includes boats on the Lago Maggiore. Swimming in the Lago Maggiore as much as hiking across the hills and mountains is possible right out of your accommodation.

Due to limited service going to Monte Verita on Sundays we organize a shuttle bus (white with black Monte Verita logo, 9 seats) from Locarno railway station (see sketch linked below) bringing you to the conference center at Monte Verita.

Departure times of the shuttle bus: 15:00 15:40 16:20 17:00 17:40 18:20
If you are in the external "Hotel La Perla", you should plan to drop off your luggage and/or check in before coming to the conference center. In order to do so, please request the driver to stop at "Hotel La Perla" when boarding the shuttle bus.
If you arrive at other times, take the bus to Ascona Centro and walk to the conference center or Hotel La Perla.
Shuttles are also provided to bring you to the train station after lunch on Thursday.
